The Time Capsule Ends
November has been a month of ups and downs, and I want to start with the bad news first. At the start of the month I wanted to expand trading beyond ETH to other coins like SOL and BTC as they were seeing much more activity and I felt it a better way to make gains. Through the majority of the month that panned out with the Capsule experiencing over 50% gains due to the diversified trades. Unfortunately calamity struck this past week when I accidentally left on the 30x leverage I was using to trade ETH at $2,000 when switching to trading SEI (a new blockchain) which trades at a mere 25 cents. I was almost immediately liquidated, with the entire Capsule's ~$32k being reduced to $232.
This is a catastrophic error, and one that I cannot express how much I regret. It erases the 5 months of careful work that netted nearly a 3x in that time, and comes at a terrible time with the December Christmas rally and January's likely ETF approvals coming, forming the start of what will probably be the next bull run. I had hoped to build your funds steadily over the year into a nest egg we could see explode over the course of 2024, and instead am left with delivering the hard news that this marks the end of the Time Capsules as a whole.
I created this project to help each of you out there who might lack the appetite or time to trade and who trusted me to do it well for you. Despite all the hard work, software, and projects myself and the team released in the past 2 years, our inability to orchestrate a public sale with Sidekick and my leverage error this last week have left you all with empty hands and I don't want to let you down again. I will be closing the Time Capsule permanently after distributing what remains to current holders, and will be focused on giving advice on Twitter and Discord instead of actively managing assets in the future.
I love talking and working alongside each of you and hope that in the future there might be a way I can repay you all for the opportunities and trust you gave me over the past two years.

In a month that ended in such disappointment there is one development that did go well. Sidekick Wallet has been accepted into the Microsoft Startups program which grants us $125,000 of Azure credits and $2,500 in OpenAI credits as well as 1-on-1 advice. We've already begun the switch over from Oracle to Azure for our backend infrastructure and this should ensure our ability to keep services running through 2024.
We're also switching our swap provider from Rango to 0x to almost triple the amount of exchanges searched for the best rates and enabling in-app swapping of any token, including newly created shitcoins. This along with a few quality of life improvements will be coming later this month in an update to the extension. We are still working on both Sidekick Wallet and Hello Friend as we find time, and continue to pursue VC funding to help make them grow and become a financial success for you all as well as best-in-class products.
No matter how difficult the road ahead is, I will continue giving my all to building a better future; and I wish all of you and your families the very best this holiday season.
